This policy covers the public BL TECHNO website, including demo requests, contact enquiries, support enquiries, resource subscriptions and agent or partner applications.
The authenticated School Management Platform processes additional school, staff, learner, family, finance and transport information. The specific responsibilities of BL TECHNO and each customer school are defined by the applicable customer agreement and, where used, a data-processing agreement.
2. Information we may collect
Public forms may collect names, business or school contact details, country or region, organisation information, role, school size, selected product interests, implementation timing and the message or information that you choose to submit.
The public site should not be used to submit passwords, authentication secrets, payment-card details, medical records, confidential learner records or other sensitive school data unless BL TECHNO has provided a specifically authorised secure workflow for that purpose.
3. Why we use information
Information submitted through public forms may be used to respond to enquiries, arrange product demonstrations, assess partner applications, provide requested support, manage legitimate business communications and improve the public website and product experience.
Where a legal basis is required by applicable law, the appropriate basis depends on the context and jurisdiction and may include consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations or legitimate business interests.
4. School and learner information
Schools control who is authorised to use their operational environment and what information is entered into it. BL TECHNO is designed with role, school and centre scope so access can be limited to authorised users and functions.
Public marketing pages are not intended to expose production learner, family, billing or transport records. Product visuals used on this website should use fictional or privacy-safe demo data.
5. Sharing and service providers
BL TECHNO may use technology, hosting, communications, payment, support or other service providers where needed to operate the service. The specific provider list and any international-transfer mechanism should be verified and published before public launch where required.
BL TECHNO does not need to give advertisers access to private school application records in order to operate this website.
6. Retention
Public enquiry information should be kept only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, legal obligations, dispute handling and legitimate operational records.
Retention periods for authenticated school-platform records depend on the customer agreement, configured school processes, legal requirements and any approved retention policy.
7. Security
BL TECHNO uses access-control concepts such as authenticated roles, school or centre scope, action permissions and audit history in the School App. Security controls continue to be reviewed as the platform develops.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Infrastructure, encryption, backup, recovery and incident-response statements published publicly should be limited to controls that BL TECHNO has verified in production.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
Where your request concerns information controlled by your school, BL TECHNO may need to direct the request to that school or coordinate with it under the applicable agreement.
9. International use
BL TECHNO is designed for international school contexts. Privacy, data-transfer, education and record-keeping requirements differ by country. Commercial availability in a country does not automatically mean that every optional service or integration is available there.
